Tygger's story is one of unfortunate occurrence. His skin and coat certainly were treatable and the external scarring could have been avoided had proper treatment been practiced.

His stay with us has been proving to be successful for the process needed for his body to heal. His torso and topline have shown huge improvement with specific care and complete attention.

Tygger has been settling into our home comfortably, allowing for him to learn what is expected of a young, intact male living in a "family". His manners have come around and his temperament is nothing but comical. This boy is out to make you laugh and will do all it takes to be sure there's smiles abound.

Fortunately, Tygger's appetite has kept up with his need to gain weight and he has enjoyed the benefits of the Naturally Raw Fed Diet. Tygger is gaining weight with leaps and bounds and is tipping the scale now at 145 lbs, the weight such an impressive boy should be at (compared to the 120 lbs he was just months ago). He is holding his weight well and enjoys his daily exercise regime of hikes and walks in the local Connecticut State Parks.

His condition has shown improvement although he has a long slow road to recovery. He is currently supplemented with appropriate doses of Vitamin A, Vit D, Vit E, Vit C, the B vitamins, Biotin, digestive enzymes, gastrointestinal microbial inoculants along with natural vitamin nutrition thru feeding. His nutrient needs seem to be that of a "normal" dog and his blood tests/thyroid/allergy tests all came back normal.

Now, without all the infection to fight, Tygger's immune system is appropriately working to do the job it is intended for..

Tygger is "on the mend".

We couldn't be any happier to have  our "Stripey Boy" back as part of our Bulhaven Family!
